Rex Costume
Toy Story is a hugely popular series of movies, and every character is kind of a star in their own right. This definitely includes the lovable, completely not scary (and slightly high strung) character of Rex the dinosaur. You can show your love for Rex by letting your child wear a Rex costume at every available opportunity. Bonus points if you build a small city out of cardboard boxes, set up a camera at “street level,” and let your child absolutely demolish the place and put the video on YouTube. While that’s probably been done to death already, a Rex costume is the kind of outfit that borders on timelessness. Let’s take a look at a couple of different costumes that will let you and your child indulge in your desire for cute depictions of wanton destruction, featuring characters that literally could not scare a child.

Toy Story – Rex Deluxe Child Costume
This is the quintessential Rex costume, bar none. It has everything about the guy (except for an all green body), from his silly teeth with the massive, “how can he chew his food” overbite, to the dopey little point at the top of his head. This Rex costume is made especially fun with the addition of his absolutely clawless hands – as if he would have to grab at salads with some kind of intensity. And of course, a Rex costume simply would not be complete without the addition of his tail in the back. This Rex costume is available in Toddler (3T-4T), Small (4-6) and Medium (7-8) sizes. Comes with shirt, gloves, tail and headpiece (which kind of looks like Rex finally ate somebody). Does not come with pants, undershirt or shoes.

Toy Story – Rex Character Headpiece Adult
You can probably find some good green gloves, and make some green clawed shoes. And just about anybody can find some soft of green clothing that looks a little bit “dinosaurish.” But the part of any Rex costume that makes it into Rex, and not just some other green dinosaur whose name shouldn’t be mentioned here is the Headpiece. This is great for scaring the living crap out of your children, by pretending that you fell into Rex’s mouth… or it might just be a fun way to keep the Sun off of you when you’re outside in the winter time, with all of that padding to keep you warm. And if you’re being pursued by some sort of law enforcement, nothing says, “I’m completely not the person you’re looking for” like a Rex costume (especially the headpiece portion). Just make sure you wear more than just the headpiece, or you will be arrested for entirely different reasons than terrorizing a major metropolitan area.
